The morning brought the very sad news of my sister-in-floof, Fin, crossing the Bridge.
We will miss you and think of you and our adventures fondly. Run free, Finny, until we will all meet one day. Please send purrs and comforting thoughts to her family.Wednesday, 9 May 2012

Sleeping in the sun
Enjoying the last of the warm autumn sun while I still can ....
Soon it will be winter for us down under :(. On that note, I will bid all a temporary goodbye as my SS is heading to Europe for a month at the end of the week. My gran and uncles will look after me while she is away. While in Europe, she will be meeting up with Karl's maid in Berlin and the pair of them will visit Asta's family in Budapest. That would be such fun. Too bad I can't go.Saturday, 5 May 2012
Party time
We are so happy that my tongue lesion is benign that my sissies, Asta and Gracie, decide to throw a Cinco de Mayo party to celebrate. Let's dance and drink to the health of all, to furriendship and to sissies....one for all and all for one!
All photos courtesy of Asta and Gracie. Do go and see what they are up to.Friday, 4 May 2012
Good news
Just goes to show the power of global purrs and kind thoughts and prayers. A miracle has happened! My biopsy came back as inflammatory and not cancerous!!!! The steroid injection is working - I am starting to eat better and dribble less already. Yes, I have to go back for injections until the lesion shrinks but that's minor compared to what might have been. The vet was so sure that it was malignant and nearly didn't send away the biopsy to spare the expense for SS, but SS insisted. Are we glad that common sense prevailed. The $200 was well spent! The sun is shining, we are doing happy dances. Come for a party!!!! Many thanks to all my friends, old and new, for their purrs and purrayers. We sure appreciate them. You are the best!!!!
Oh no, we just saw that Gentleman Beau might be having cancer. We purr and purray that he will come out with the same good fortune that I have. Please, please purr for him. We so believe in the power of universal purr.Tuesday, 1 May 2012
Back in the yard
It's me, MoMo! Thank you for all your purrs, support and well wishes. Today is a gorgeous day of blue skies and warm, light breezes and I found myself a pile of tiles to stretch out on to enjoy the sun and watch the birdies and butterflies flying by.
Yes, the vet lady said I could go home and snuggle with SS. We are determined to enjoy what time I have left. I ask SS not to cry because I am not. Just concentrate on getting me some nice soft food and order the warm sunny days to stay. We love you all!!!Monday, 30 April 2012
Update
MoMo is home! She has a tumour that extends into her esophagus. The vet has sent off the biopsy for tissue diagnosis and given MoMo an injection of steroid to help ease the swelling so that she can eat. This may need to be repeated in a month depending on how well she responds. She is resting on my bed at present and will be given some soft food for the time being. Thankyou all for your purrs and kind thoughts and prayers which are much appreciated. We will enjoy each other's company until such time she has to run off to the Bridge.

Thank you all for sending kind wishes and purrs. I ask my SS to stop crying and put this post up. I will be going for surgery tomorrow morning and if the growth under my tongue is cancerous, I will not be coming home. As of this morning I can only slurp milk and fluid clumsily and eat small morsels of cheese and meat when hand fed. Otherwise I am OK.
Please purr that the vet is wrong and the lump is only an abscess or something treatable. SS will update tomorrow pm.
